The theoretical foundation courses further deepen and expand the knowledge acquired in the bachelor's programme. The specialization in Educational and Pedagogical Research prepares the candidates for their future PhD studies or their career in the field of Educational Research. Students are required to prepare an independently written thesis, which they defend before an examination committee as part of their final examination. Graduates of the Master's programme in Educational Science acquire a broad and in-depth professional knowledge base, complemented by specialised knowledge and competencies. This enables them to design, evaluate, and manage research and development activities.

No, there is no internship included in the program.

Please note that the MSc in Educational Science operates on a single-intake academic calendar. This program starts in September of each year. The application deadline in the self-financed procedure is 15th June for the September intake.

The tuition fee is 6,000 USD / year for this program.
This is supplemented by the application fee of $150 USD (one-time) and the entrance procedure fee of $350 USD that covers the examination and interview. Please note that the application and entrance procedure fees are non-refundable and must be paid via bank transfer to initiate the review process.
