Faculty of Health Sciences

The Faculty of Health Sciences in its present form was created in 2022, as the former Faculty of Public Health was integrated into the former Faculty of Health.

The Faculty of Health Sciences operates on 3 different campuses, in 3 different cities: Nyíregyháza, Debrecen, and Szolnok.

Its educational structure remains the same as it was before the merge. Even though being a recently established institution, the Faculty of Health Sciences has a long history through its predecessor institutions.

The Faculty offers education in Hungarian and English for its approximately 3,000 students, with a staff of 150 people who are committed to a high level of university training.

The Faculty offers bachelor and master programs fully taught in English on its Nyíregyháza and Debrecen campuses.

In order to ensure the professional quality of its training programs and to maintain the social integration of the predecessor faculties in its host cities, the Faculty of Health Sciences operates extensive and effective partnerships.

Students can learn from the physicians and researchers of the clinics and hospitals located in the cities of the campuses. These long-existing co-operations provide the highest quality of professional training to the students studying at the faculty.

The aim of the Faculty of Health Sciences is to provide up-to-date and extensive theoretical and practical knowledge to the students that enables them to perform well in their future jobs.
