History and education

  • The Campus in Hajdúböszörmény was established in 1971
  • The Faculty offers quite a wide range of educational programs:
  • Kindergarten Educator BA: 6 semesters
  • Kindergarten Educator specialization Roma Ethnic Minorities BA: 6 semesters
  • Infant and Child Care Studies BA: 6 semesters
  • Social Pedagogy BA: 6+1 semesters
  • Social Pedagogy MA: 4 semesters
  • Romany Studies: 6 semesters
  • Postgraduate Specialization degree programs in several fields: 4 semesters

 

  • The mission of the Faculty is to equip the students with valuable and up-to-date knowledge that will enable them to excel professionally and realize themselves personally in several fields of the educational and social sphere.
  • The faculty offers broad professional perspectives as well as keeping the traditions, offering diversity and the opportunity to become a successful intellectual.
  • Training kindergarten attached to the Faculty is running at the Campus where students can gain valuable experience in caring for and teaching children aged 3-6. Practical training in kindergartens is a major integral part of the Kindergarten Educator BA programme.
