The doctoral school provides high quality education in scientific research. Doctoral candidates are welcome to join the following programs: Atomic and Molecular Physics, Nuclear Physics, Solid State Physics, Interdisciplinary applications, Particle Physics.

Applicants must have an English proficiency of at least upper-B2 level as the program is fully taught in English. For your information, this is equivalent to:

• a TOEFL test with a minimum score of 547 (Paper-Based).
• an IELTS test with a minimum score of 6.0

The language proficiency of applicants must be proven with a standardized, at least upper-intermediate (B2) level language certificate, obtained at a proctored exam.

Applicants can be exempted from submitting an English proficiency test if they are native speakers of English (first language) or they have completed the secondary or higher education in the English language (in this case a medium of instruction certificate as proof of proficiency is required). Exemptions may be granted on the basis of certain other educational certificates submitted with the application.
