AFK Preparatory Course (Canadian licensing)

AFK Preparatory Course exclusively at the University of Debrecen.

The AFK (Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge) is an evaluating examination organized and conducted by the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB). It is the first exam that must be successfully cleared by any foreign educated Dentist Willing to obtain their Canadian dental license.

The Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge examination is the beginning of the 4 step journey towards the direct licensing process in Canada for foreign trained dental professionals.

The assessment is established on the basic theoretical knowledge of fundamental dentistry with a test comprising of 300 multiple choice questions designed to evaluate the clinical application capabilities of the candidate.
Examinations are held twice every academic year (February and August) and stringent reviews of the recommended text books are expected of the candidates during the preparatory phase.
