Practical information

please make sure that you have filled this form about your travel details, meal preferences, etc., to help us with the arrangement of the event;
we are hoping that the weather will remain nice and warm for the duration of your visit, however, month of May is quite unpredictable in Hungary (it can be 10-30 Celsius with sunny, rainy or windy weather). Please make sure to pack some warm clothes as well as comfortable shoes for the campus tours and sightseeing.
in case you would like to have any private meetings with Director Prof. Jenei or other members of our team please make sure to arrange it in advance. However, our team will be present at the programs, and you will have the chance to approach them any time,
make sure to keep to the schedule and be on time. Please respect each other and be at the meeting points 5 minutes before the given time.

**Your booking in Hotel Divinus covers the following*:**

superior room for 3 nights;
dinner on the day of your arrival – 5rd May
breakfast on 5rd-8th May

*Kindly note that no extra services are included in the booking, thank you for your understanding. If you would like to use extra services, you can issue the payment at your check-out. Tourist tax is covered by our office.

Upon arrival airport transfer will be provided. Ms. Angelika Kiss will be waiting for you at Budapest Airport, holding a University of Debrecen sign.

Please note that after your arrival, we will go directly to Hotel Divinus together with the group. For that day, you may relay and discover the city on your on (public transportation tickets will be provided). Your dinner will be covered at Hotel Divinus.

08:45 - 08:50 – Welcome Speech A brief welcome speech will be held at Kenézy Villa.
09:00 - 09:30 – General Introduction of the University of Debrecen Overview of the university's history, mission, and academic offerings.
09:30 - 10:10 – Medical Program Presentation Introduction to medical programs at the university.
10:10 – 10:30 – Tea/Coffee Break with Student Ambassadors Informal meet and greet with student representatives.
10:30 - 11:10 – Non-Medical Program Presentation An overview of the university's medical programs.
11:10 - 12:00 – Student Life Presentation by Student Ambassador Insights into the daily life and experiences of students at the university.
12:00 - 13:20 – Lunch at Kenézy Villa
13:30 - 15:00 – Campus and Dormitory Tour Guided tour of the university campus and student dormitories.
15:00 - 19:00 – Free Time Guests have the opportunity to explore on their own or relax.

09:00 – 10:30 – Campus Tour – Engineering Faculty
11:00 – 12:30 – Campus Tour – Chemistry
13:00 – 14:30 – Lunch at Smart Bistro
15:00 – 15:20 – 1st Admission Roundtable Discussion The first roundtable meeting focusing on the university's admission process, held at Könyvtár Sziget.
15:20 – 15:40 – 2nd Admission Roundtable Discussion Continuation of discussions on university admissions.
17:00 – 18:00 – Guided Sightseeing The rest of the afternoon is free for personal activities.
18:00 - 19:30 – Free Time
19:30 – Dinner Dinner at Csokonai Restaurant, offering a relaxed dining experience.

Friday – 8th May

Departure – Guests Depart
Check-out from the Hotel is at 10 A.M.

Transfer is organized based on your flight. You will receive an e-mail regarding your scheduled itinerary.
