The University uses the ECTS credit system which is widely accepted all over the world. At the end of your study period you are going to receive a transcript which contains all your fulfilled subjects and grades; a bulletin, which contains the subject descriptons of your program and also a certificate about the ECTS credit system so your earned credits can be easily accepted by your university. Details:
 
Participants in International Study Semester Program can take those subjects on their chosen program at the University of Debrecen which are relevant concerning their previous studies. Minimum requirement is to take at least 20 credits in each semester and students can apply for the program from their second year on. The tuition fee contains the fee of the health insurance for the actual semester as well as a 15 day long travel insurance.
 
Entry requirements:
 
When you apply you need to submit the results of your previous studies (transcript), a copy of your passport and your language certificate. If you can not provide a language certificate an oral examination/Skype interview will conducted to check your English language skills.
