    Faculty: Faculty of Engineering

    Starting date: September/February (first launch 2019 September)

    Language requirements: English language proficiency (TOEFL 547 /IELTS 6.0 /oral examination)

    Academic requirements: Credit points can be fully recognized from: Environmental Engineering Bachelor’s degree.
    Bachelor’s degrees in the following fields can be taken into account: those bachelor’s and master’s programmes and other training programmes under the Higher Education Act LXXX of 1993 that are accepted by the credit transfer committee of a tertiary institution on the basis of credit rating. The minimum credits to entrance the master program are 60 from the fields: natural sciences (20), economic and human sciences (10), environmental engineering professional knowledge (30). The prerequisites of entering the master program that on the basis of his/her bachelor degree an applicant processes at least 30 credits. The missing credits of the fields listed above have to be obtained during the master training according to the rules and regulations of the tertiary institute.

    Duration: 4 semesters

    ECTS credits: 120

    Short description:

    The objective of the program is to train environmental engineers with up-to-date scientific, ecological, engineering, economic and management knowledge to be capable to identify and assess the existing and potential environmental threats, to prevent or reduce environmental damage, to prepare and control damage control projects. They are able to provide complex engineering and scientific design and analytical procedures on the basis of their up-to-date knowledge of informatics with the help of design, modelling and simulation softwares. They are prepared to set out and apply adequate technological solutions to prevent environmental pollution and to provide engineering design and managing tasks in the field of waste processing and recycling. They are able to optimize environmental technologies and environmental impacts. They are prepared on further studies in doctoral program.

    One time fees: application fee 150 USD, entrance procedure fee 350 USD
